Our Medical Professionals
Dr. Sean Woodward was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He attended Northeast High School and graduated in 1996. He then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gerontology from the University of South Florida. Following that, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic College of Florida in 2005. Dr. Sean is well versed in multiple Chiropractic techniques and has dealt with many musculoskeletal related issues throughout his career.
Dr. Sean is also licensed to practice acupuncture as he holds a fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He is a certified medical examiner with the Department of Transportation.
Dr. Sean is married and has one son. When he is not in the office, he is either out watching his son play baseball or finding an adventure with his family. He enjoys swimming, biking and running and has competed in many triathlons.
Dr. Gruber is a board-certified PM/R physician, specializing in interventional pain management, who has had the pleasure of serving the Tampa Bay community for more than 30 years. He takes the utmost pride in providing the highest quality of spinal care with the highest level of compassion available. He has served as Medical Director of multiple local "world class" spinal practices, and is skilled in functioning as a lead member of multidisciplinary team approach to managing spinal disorders. Throughout his career he has collaborated with multiple spinal care specialists to coordinate an optimal treatment plans for patient suffering from the widest variety of spinal conditions, ranging from soft tissue injuries to complex disorders such as spinal stenosis. Through careful analysis of each patient's condition, he can identify the primary cause of a patient’s pain and direct the optimal application of treatment options available, ranging from chiropractic care to surgical intervention. His devotion to quality care is evidenced by functioning as Fellowship Director for physicians throughout the country training in the performance of interventional spinal procedures and co-authoring numerous articles in the literature related to optimizing spinal care practices and outcomes. Dr. Gruber currently has devoted his entire practice to the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients suffering the consequences of the multiple causes of spinal trauma.
Dr. Michael Rieber is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in providing conservative and minimally invasive orthopedic care. He is dedicated to serving patients within the workers' compensation system, recognizing the unique challenges they face when recovering from work-related injuries.
Dr. Rieber emphasizes alternative, non-surgical treatments whenever possible, ensuring that surgery is only considered when necessary. When surgical intervention is required, he offers state-of-the-art arthroscopy and robotic-assisted procedures for knee, hip, and shoulder repairs— procedures known for their precision and quicker recovery times, which help patients return to work more efficiently.
Stephanie Appel was Born in Bogotá, Colombia. She was raised in a Military family. She lived in Madrid, Spain for 8 years and has lived in multiple countries and states before her family settled in Tampa Florida. She attended Clearwater Central Catholic High School before graduating with a degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida.
She brings a global perspective and a deep understanding of diverse markets to her role as Director of Business Development at Impact Medical Group.
Stephanie has built an impressive career working in the Medical Industry as well with major brands like Miller Lite and Coca-Cola, where she specialized in marketing strategies focused on the Hispanic market. Stephanie is bilingual in both English & Spanish.
At Impact Medical Group, Stephanie leverages her extensive experience to drive strategic growth, build community relationships, and expand the company’s footprint across Florida. Her passion for connecting with people and creating meaningful partnerships is at the heart of her success.
Stephanie and her husband are involved in many charities giving back to the community for the Krewe of Sant' Yago for which her father and husband are members.
Stephanie is married with 2 children who are both active in sports which keeps her busy on the weekends. She enjoys staying active through fitness, cooking and hanging out with family & friends.
